Loop was born from a reflection by Amandine Chhor on the industrial constraints of soldered steel wire. This reflection inspired a wall shelf which extends over 1.60m of which 1.40m is functional space.
The soldered steel wire gives the shelf a feeling of lightness whilst assuring great solidity. The shelf is perfect as a double bed headboard or as shelving for the length of a single bed or desk. With its remarkable contours this shelf in lemon yellow wakes up your interior whilst in white blends into the background.
Amandine Choor
After graduating from ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Amandine Chhor worked for five years in design agencies and for Hermès, as a designer and project manager.
In 2013, she founded a design studio with Aïssa Logerot in Paris, with an aim to create objects that tell a story and achieve a perfect balance between function, form and production technique. Passionate about materials, arts and crafts and industrial manufacturing processes, the pair designs products and furniture that highlight functionality and the rigour of simplicity.
